Surya marks milestone with 100,000 Facebook "Likes"

Calhoun, Ga. - Surya has reached a new record on social media, amassing 100,000 fans and counting who have "liked" its Facebook page.

The company's Facebook page is designed as a hub and go-to resource where its array of customers, which include interior designers, design enthusiasts and shoppers, can learn about home decor trends, view Surya's latest product offerings and exchange ideas on home decor-related topics.

An active participant in multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Pinterest, Houzz, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn, Surya regularly updates its social media sites to ensure that customers have access to inspiring, engaging and relevant content.

During High Point Market, Surya will host a panel of industry leaders to discuss the evolving role of social media in the home decor and interior design space. The special session, entitled "Social Media Success in the Home Decor Industry," is open to all market attendees and will be held at Showplace 4100 on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 4 p.m. Panel members include: Maxwell Ryan, founder of Apartment Therapy and author of Big Book of Small, Cool Spaces; Jason Harris, founder of The Design Network, and executive vice president at Furnitureland South; Lisa Ferguson, founder of Decor Mentor; and Gretchen Aubuchon, founder of Fashion + Decor.
