Royal Heritage Home debuts new Williamsburg bedding

Williamsburg, Va. - Williamsburg and licensee Royal Heritage Home will expand their collaborative top-of-the-bed program with the debut of two collections at the New York Home Fashions Market that marry current design trends and enduring style traditions.
Grand Palampore in plum and sand colors is a contemporary take on an Indian chintz bedcover in the archives of The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. The antique textile that inspired the bedding reflects the design influence of the spice routes during the 17th and 18th centuries.
Collinson pairs trend-forward pink and green with a warm, earth brown for a current take on English garden traditions. The floral pattern pops against the dark solid ground colorway.
"Both patterns bring trend and tradition together in a way that we know will be interesting for consumers, and the rich colors make both designs well-suited for use in today's homes," said Kris Fischer, Williamsburg's director of product management. "We are thrilled with Royal Heritage Home's interpretations and with how the new bedding looks."
