Dalton, Ga. - Kimberly Stockwell has been named as the New England sales representative for Sphinx by Oriental Weavers, reporting to Sam Belak, Northeast regional vp of sales.

Stockwell, who has been involved in the flooring business for more than a decade, will be responsible for developing new business and managing sales for existing dealers who carry Sphinx area rugs, broadloom, and pads in Eastern Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and Rhode Island.

She spent eight years at Mohawk Industries as a territory manager for the Fashion Division representing Karastan Broadloom and Rugs, CustomWeave, and Ralph Lauren.  "Kim has a great knowledge of the flooring industry, and has developed strong relationships with floor covering and furniture dealers throughout the New England area," said Belak.
