Atlanta Gift show adds licensing showcase

Atlanta – The AmericasMart here, long the home of the seasonal area rug and gift markets, for the first time will add licensing to its highlights.

Come January, the mart will introduce its new Licensing & Design area to display the brands and works of artists and licensors nationwide.

The debut is set for Jan. 9-11 in the Building 2 temporaries section, as a new component of the Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings market, which this year overlaps with the Atlanta International Area Rug market.

AmericasMart said of Licensing & Design, “This product collection completes an essential component of everyday business and creates a one-stop destination for permanent and temporary exhibitors seeking new artisan talent and fresh design options for new product applications … and is poised to help jumpstart product planning, networking and securing partnerships, as well as streamline the licensing process for both artists and agencies and designers and manufacturers.”
