When it comes to New York this week, Surtex 2009 will offer attendees a slew of educational sessions where industry experts offer their business advice and share their knowledge about the applied art industry.
This annual event runs May 17 to 19. The "Conference Program" will include 10 sessions that range from "Working with an agent" to "Jumping on the brand-wagon" as well as a retailer forum and a workshop on the legalities related to licensing. The programming will also "provide insights into emerging color, style and design trends for 2010 and beyond," said show organizer GLM, a dmg world media business.
