Allure brings bling to bath    

At the New York Market – As Allure Home Creations vp of design and marketing, Gaby Colquitt, put it, “This market, ‘bling’ is big for us. More bling and shine have added newness for us.”

After offering “a whole lot” of its signature novelty looks at the prior market last summer, Allure has turned its attention this time around to more formal styles and additional master bath suite looks within its bath coordinate offerings – families of bath accessories, towels, rugs and shower curtains.

But Allure has also found a new sweet spot in freestanding offerings, and this market placed more emphasis in single sellers.

There are about 50% more stand-alone fabric shower curtain offerings than in the past, Colquitt explained, available in a wide range of patterns and themes. There are also many more freestanding bath accessories sets.

With Earth-friendliness in mind, the company created many of its new shower curtains and accessories in sustainable materials. There are several PEVA (polyethylene vinyl acetate) shower curtains, and many of the new accessories are made of natural materials, including wood, metals and ceramic.
