Dan Nordstrom, who is a fourth-generation member of the corporate family, will stay on through the end of the month, according to the company.

Smith, formerly president and ceo of Lands' End catalog company and the founder of online scrapbook company, left the company on Friday. became a directly controlled subsidiary of Nordstrom on May 31, when Nordstrom bought out the minority venture investors of, Benchmark Capital and Madrona Investments.
