Hollander's basics offering a lot more

At the New York Market — Laura Ashley basic bedding is once again anything but basic at Hollander Home Fashions, which is introducing the brand's spring line.

The spring palette features new prints and solids, many that are reversible, which are being offered in down and down alternative with matching shams. The line now includes solid bed skirts as an added feature.

The Laura Ashley feature bed is Springtime, suggesting the gentle change of season, made with down alternative.

In basic bedding, Hollander is introducing new quilting patterns in comforters, mattress pads, down alternative toppers, fiberbeds and blankets, some in back-to-school colors, utilizing single-needle quilting.

In bed pillows, the company is featuring quilted comforts with new intricate designs, including Spiral Quilted 300 cotton sateen down alternative, Peachy Puzzle gusset down alternative and Heirloom quilted superfirm. Fun, playful pillows feature the Cuddleroll Cushion in a variety of fabrications, including Velvet Stripe, Heavy Metal and Tie-Dye Denim.

And in fashion bedding, five new design themes are being featured: Natural Habitat, a comfortable and modern story inspired by nature; Silver Sophisticates, three streamlines and modern ensembles; Patchwork Panache, a fresh collection of pieced ensembles; Contemporary Classics, new looks at traditional design elements; and Enchanting Exotica, which evokes the feeling of faraway places.
