Bella Rose hires two designers

Oklahoma City – Top-of-bed, table linen and decorative pillow company Bella Rose by Chateau has hired two new designers to broaden its high-end bedding and decorative accessory offerings.

The two designers are Taryn Jacobson Evans and Shea Alexander.

Evans was most recently with Cottontail Originals, and prior to that worked for Victoria’s Secret design studio in New York.

Alexander comes to the company from Oklahoma State University, where she worked as a graduate assistant in design. She has also worked with the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. Alexander is the 2007 recipient of the Bernina Quilted Garment Design Excellence Award and a 2008 Jurors Choice winner of the Fiberworks competition.

Sharon Turner, president of Bella Rose by Chateau, said, “Their experience and training in fashion and art is a huge asset to Bella Rose as we continue to expand our design portfolio.”

In related news, the company recently partnered with sales and marketing firm Straaton SE to attend to customers in the Southeast region of the United States.

The new partnership also brings a change in showrooms for Bella Rose at High Point market. Bella Rose by Chateau will now be located in suite D-320 at the International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC).

The company will be showing two new collections later this month during the High Point market: Kenya and Elizabeth. African culture-inspired Kenya centers on a rich damask fabric that is accented by a leopard print, an embroidered taffeta and a chocolate-colored crushed velvet. Elizabeth is an elegant top-of-bed collection focused on metallic looks. A platinum- and gold-colored damask is the core fabrication that is enhanced with crinkled pewter taffetas on the skirted duvet.
