Duck River gives Kensie its due

At the New York Market - Duck River Textile has moved into a new showroom at 295 Fifth Ave that allows it to give an expansive treatment to the Kensie collection it launched last year in concert with the fashion-forward women's apparel brand.
Now residing in the former Nautica space, Duck River is showcasing multiple beds and accessories pieces. And in a twist for Kensie - known for its over-the-top colorations - the new home collection is grounded in gray. The collection, inspired by Kensie sportswear, still offers a lot of whimsy - not to mention, the brand's signature hummingbird motif.
Also new in Kensie are window panels and shower curtains, which will be released this fall. The brand will also branch into some down-filled bedding. And Duck River is showing a plethora of mix-and-match decorative pillows.
Elsewhere in the showroom, the company is debuting a new packaging for its own window panel program. A pair of grommeted panels is offered on a reusable wooden hanger for value-add. The company will also add cedar and bamboo hanger options.
