Bardwil adds Waverly to license brand portfolio

New York - Bardwil Industries has inked a licensing partnership with Iconix Brand Group for the Waverly license in time for a product launch across three categories for the New York Home Fashions Market next month.
The alliance calls for Bardwil to create, develop and market decorative bath ensembles, table linens and kitchen textiles under Waverly.
"Waverly is one of the oldest, most recognized home textile brands, with a rich history and heritage," noted Alan Kennedy, Bardwil president. "It is a perfect fit for Bardwil Industries, and we look forward to broadening our market share with this powerful brand."
Bardwil has long worked with a major brands via license partnerships. Its current roster includes Lenox, Tommy Bahama, Isaac Mizrahi, and Dena Designs.
For Waverly, Bardwil components will include:
- Bath: embellished towels, bath rugs, accessories, shower curtains, and shower curtain hooks, to be available in eight ensembles;
- Table linens: tablecloths, placemats, napkins, runners, and napkin rings, to span floral, geometric and other patterns;
- Kitchen textiles: kitchen towels, dishcloths, potholders, oven mitts, aprons, and chair pads, also in a variety of floral and contemporary looks.
