Louis Hornick touts prints and Made in U.S. label

New York - Louis Hornick & Co, Inc., is expanding its Firefend line of fire retardant window coverings, showing at least 10 new prints in its adult line.
The prints are categorized in Classic, Contemporary & Modern collections and encompass the Firefend and Firefend semi-sheer programs. The prints will be available in two to three months, according to Tripp Hornick, coo.
The company is also dealing with good feedback from a recent ABC News special featuring it as a U.S. manufacturer. "We notice that our core retailers are really jumping at the made in the U.S. label," noted Hornick, "They really understand that there are significant advantages - quality control, smaller runs if necessary. Price is really a wash." The company continues to do business overseas, but its Firefend brand is U.S.-produced.
