Port Washington, N.Y. – High-end rug manufacturer Safavieh recently hired Charles Tagliarino as its Midwest territory manager, responsible for sales in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, and Wisconsin.
Prior to joining Safavieh, Tagliarino handled wholesale sales to architects and designers and was retail operations manager for Peykar Oriental Rugs in Westbury, N.Y.
“Charles is a perfect fit for Safavieh’s long-term strategic sales plan,” said John Thompson, national sales manager, to whom Tagliarino reports. “His strong retail experience combined with his penchant for assisting retailers to expand into new and profitable products will prove invaluable to our dealer network.”
