Memorial Services Held for Robert Lavanchy

Industry veteran Robert Lavanchy suddenly passed away here in the company of his family on April 6. He was 53.

Lavanchy had a 25-year career with Commonwealth Home Fashions and Richmark International, primarily as their sales representative in New England and the New York City area.

“He was respected throughout the industry for his generosity and good nature as well as his hard work ethic,” according to Commonwealth Home Fashions.

He is survived by his wife Becky, brothers Steve, Gene and David, and his sisters Susan and Beth as well as his parents Jean and Beverly.

Memorial services were held on Friday April 9 at the Union Congregational Church, 136 Rawson Road, Wollaston (Quincy), Mass. 02170

Donations can be made in his memory to the Union Congregational Church, 136 Rawson Road, Wollaston (Quincy), Mass. 02170, to the attention of Pastor Jack.
