Buyers lounge opens at 295 Fifth

New York – Showroom building 295 Fifth Avenue will open a buyers lounge with complimentary coat and bag check as well as free coffee, rolls and danish during this week’s New York Home Fashions Market.

The lounge, with a range of tables, will be located in the first floor space recently vacated by Park B. Smith, according to Claude Litton, president of building manager Manhattan Properties.

Six building tenants will also erect new product displays in the space: Ellery Homestyles, Lintex Linens, London Luxury, Lorraine Home, Mohawk Home, and Town & Country.

Those companies will also show merchandise in the showroom windows that face the Fifth Avenue sidewalk.

Two tenants have moved into new showrooms this market. Avanti, which just acquired Tweel, has doubled its space by occupying the former W-C Designs showroom in Suite 1507. Artex will take over Avanti’s former space in Suite 207.

New tenants and their showroom numbers at 295 Fifth:

IN Living, 904;

Newpoint International, 1718;

Westone Inc., 1121;

Sharadha Terry, 1506.
