Showroom Scorecard: Who is Where at 295, 230 and 7W

There are many showroom shifts going on this summer in New York City, and keeping track of companies' comings and goings — from one showroom to another — can require a scorecard.

HTT tracked down where many home textiles companies are relocating their showrooms on Fifth Avenue within the home textiles district — at the 295 and 230 buildings — and just off Fifth Avenue at 7 West 34th St. Management at 261 Fifth Avenue — the other prominent Fifth Avenue showroom building — did not respond to a request for showroom information.

Below is an inventory — arranged by address, and listed in alphabetical order — of companies that have moved in recently, are in the process of moving or are planning to pack up to new showroom sites post market.

295 Fifth Avenue

American Textiles: The 84-year-old family owned and operated utility bedding company, based in Pittsburg, Pa., is moving into a larger space in suite 806.

Artex Linens: A longtime tenant of 295, the company is relocating to a new space, 508.

Croscill Home Fashions: The fashion bedding, soft window treatment, bath coordinate, rug and accessories house is relocating post-market — sometime in late fall — to the 12,000-square-foot showroom 612 to be closer to its sister companies, Glenoit LLC and Ex-Cell Home Fashions. All are owned by private equity firm Patriarch Parnters.

Garland Carpet & Rug: The tufted fashion area rug supplier and its sister company, tufted bath rug supplier Log Cabin Rug, are together moving into the building in space 1501.

Ginsey Home Solutions: A longtime supplier of bath accessories and kitchen products for adults and children, the company is moving into 1515, which measures about 2,800 square feet — double the size of its former space in the building. The expanded space allows for more lifestyle displays.

Home Dynamics: A supplier of area rugs, outdoor mats, bath and kitchen rugs, bedding and soft window treatments, the company has found a new home in showroom 1619.

I. N. Living: The table linen and kitchen textiles company is expanding into a larger space that occupies three adjoining suites at 904.

JDY Home: Formerly known as Livington, the China-based company specializes in window panels, shower curtains and comforters but also offers other home textiles products. Its new showroom is space 1616.

Newpoint International/Canyon Cove: The bedding company — a supplier of down basic home products as well as fashion sheets and top of bed goods — is moving into 1718.

Phoenix Down: A utility bedding supplier, the company is in a new space — 505.

Ruia Home: An India-based manufacturer of rugs, bath rugs and kitchen textiles, the firm is moving into a larger space, 819.

Sharadah Terry Products: The India-based towel and terry goods company is moving into suite 1510.

Trade Lines d/b/a Mangal Exports USA: The India-based manufacturer of kitchen textiles, table linens, bath products and soft window treatments is now in space 1011.

Westone Textiles Co.: A supplier of fashion bedding goods, soft window treatments, shower curtains, table linens and other product categories, the company is relocating to 1121.

230 Fifth Avenue

Abrahami Rugs & Décor Inc.: The supplier of area rugs, bath mats and kitchen mats is moving into space 906.

Abhinav International Inc.: A bedding company, Abhinav is now in suite 1705.

Coelima USA Inc.: The Portuguese manufacturer of fashion bedding for private label programs is now in suite 1706.

NC Home Fashions Inc.: The Chinese bedding company, which offers quilts, comforters, bedspreads, sheet sets and other relates items, is located in space 1605.

7 West 34th Street

Apache Mills Inc.: A supplier of indoor and outdoor doormats and kitchen comfort mats, the company is now in suite 428.

Bolan Trading/HIRA Terry Mills: The bath towel ensemble and bath robe manufacturer has moved into suite 624.

by em: The company offers high-tech bath products such as sound-activated illuminated bath accessories. The new showroom for by em has not yet been assigned but will be announced in August.

Colomba Living: The supplier of natural fiber bedding, bath, table linens and accessories at its new space has moved into showroom 839.

Createx Corp.: The home textiles company is moving into suite 531.

Creative Bath Products: The supplier of bath coordinates, housewares, and storage and organization products is moving into a bigger space in the building. The new 10,000-square-foot showroom is in suite 1000.

Devgiri Exports/ABC Industries: Area and accent rugs, bath rugs, decorative pillows, throws and table linens made mostly of natural fiber make up this suppliers' product offering. The new showroom is in space 731.

K.K.P. Fine Linen PVT. LTD.: The India-based manufacturer of sheet and duvet sets, quilts, decorative cushion covers, table linens and kitchen textiles has taken a new showroom, 924.

Katha Diddel: The supplier of handmade, imported woolen needlepoint, petit-point and hand-hooked pillows, rugs, holiday items and accessories in now located in 839.

Kensington Home Fashions: The soft window treatments supplier has moved into space 17.

Omniware: A supplier of kitchen textiles as well as houseware, the company's new showroom is 727.

Safdie International Inc.: The 10-month-old U.S. division of 56-year-old Canadian parent company Safdie & Co., based in Montreal, offers beach and bath towels, throws and blankets, utility bedding, top-of-bed sets, basic and fashion sheet sets, table lines and kitchen textiles, shower curtains and liners, soft window treatments and rugs. Its new showroom here is 815.
