Bloomie’s Home Comes to Bergen County

Bloomingdale’s this week will open a new home furnishings store in The Shops at Riverside shopping center in Bergen County, N.J.
The 75,000-square-store features a complete array of home furnishings as well as The Registry and a Godiva chocolate shop.
The new store is designed to be easier to shop and offers better services. Luxury bed and bath and furniture, mattresses and rugs, and the interior design studio are on the second floor of the two-level building, as is the new children’s department.
Highlighted designers in the home textiles world include Barbara Barry, Calvin Klein, Charisma, Donna Karan, Frette, Pratesi, Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors, whose debut bedding collection launched exclusively this month at Bloomingdale’s.
“We shopped the world to find the most exciting merchandise and put it together in the most dramatic way,” said Joe Laneve senior vp, gmm, home furnishings. “We partnered with the design world to create exclusive merchandise in luxury bed and bath, rugs, furniture, tabletop and housewares,” he added.
