1888 Mills readies new hospitality lines

Oak Brook, Ill. - 1888 Mills® will revamp its permanent New York City showroom space to promote the launch of several new towel and bedding programs during the International Hotel, Motel + Restaurant Show, which takes place at New York's Javits Center Nov. 9-12.
The manufacturer will hold appointments in its showroom at 295 Fifth Ave. on Nov. 11 and 12.
"We have been making and selling USA terry product for years," said Jack Bray, president of the Commercial Division at 1888 Mills. "Made in USA product has been a long-time staple of our hospitality division and we are now repositioning these brands so that our customers can benefit from our domestic manufacturing platform as well."
The newest addition to 1888's luxury line is Naked, "intimate" terry and bedding products made with Modal Body fiber. "The unique spinning process used for Modal® Body provides exceptional quality and unparalleled softness unseen before in the industry," the company said.
1888 Mills will also spotlight EnduraWeave, a blended base construction that extends overall product life and outlasts a traditional blended towel, according to the company.
