Karastan to present Intermezzo, Attalia and Ubershag at High Point

Sugar Valley, Ga. - Karastan has developed three new collections for launch at the upcoming High Point Market in October.
The Intermezzo Collection centers on casual beauty, with designs ranging from ikats, Suzanis and ethnic tribals to exploded florals and Jacobean patterns, and a diverse color palette to match.
Intermezzo rugs are woven of 100% super-soft premium nylon fibers on Van de Weile looms in the USA.
Richness in both color and design makes Karastan's new wool collection, Attalia, an apt addition to both traditional and modern settings. Inspired by traditional design motifs, Attalia rugs are ornate yet have a relaxed look and a color palette of spicy shades and earth tones geared toward today's interiors. These rugs are woven in the USA on Axminster looms, just as the Karastan originals have been made since 1928, of premium fully worsted New Zealand wool.
The new Ubershag Collection from Karastan Studio encompasses rugs that are imported from China and hand tufted of 100% polyester fibers. The color palette-12 solid shades, including earth tones, jewel tones and metallics-energizes bedrooms and living rooms with sophisticated comfort.
"Ubershag is the ultimate bedside rug," says Brandon Culpepper, vice president of specialty sales for Mohawk. "It combines a soft, luxurious look with everyday comfort and durability."
Karastan's showroom in High Point is located at the International Home Furnishings Center in space H309.
