At the New York Market - Pacific Coast Feather (PCF) and United Feather and Down (UFD) showed their wares together in one showroom for the first time since their merger earlier this year. Both entities continue to maintain their own brands but will now be housed in Pacific Coast Feather's showroom for the event.
"It gives the world a bigger, better picture of the total product line," said Bob Hickman, svp, UFD. "It's an exciting platform to be in. It will be the first time that we will expose our brands to some of their customer base and our customers can benefit from PCF's operational platform." For now, Hickman says UFD will continue to focus on its brand lines and customers "where there is no crossover."
For this market, PFC showed an expanded line of mattress pads, including its LunaLuxe Mattress Pad. Also new is a circular knit mattress pad designed for use with memory foam and latex mattresses, and the Sealy Choice Density Mattress Pad line offered in three different densities.
UFD has doubled its offerings in its Sleep for Success by Dr. James B. Maas performance line. It has also expanded its line of Sheex products, which use athletic performance fabrics. New items in its Eileen West and Joseph Abboud brands round out the offerings.
