Valley Forge, Adler launch Volumes of Velvet
June 1, 2009,
The new Volumes of Velvet collection — designed by Jonathan Adler and produced by Valley Forge Fabrics — represents the designer's foray into the hospitality market.
It launched in mid May during the HD Expo & Conference here.
Adler is focused on "glamorous boutiques and majestic hotel properties" for Volumes of Velvet.
The three-part collection features 18 patterns available in 17 color ways for a total of 122 velvet fabrics.
"I like my colors rich and juicy and, most importantly, velvety," Adler said. "There's something about velvet — it adds a depth and dimension to color that is mesmerizing. I partnered with Valley Forge to create a palette of velvets I've longed for but could never find in the market (let alone the hospitality market)."
He added, "Tangy Orange, the perfect Mushroom, marshmallow White, the Green that will make you feel like you've never seen green before, inky inky inky Mediterranean navy — these are just a few of the 17 colors that form the foundation of the Volumes of Velvet collection."
