Downlite partners with Jessica McClintock

Mason, Ohio – Downlite has signed a multi-year license with the Jessica McClintock Home Collection and will launch a collection of down and down alternative bedding products at next week’s New York Home Fashions Market.
The Downlite collection embraces McClintock’s signature “romantic styling and graceful feminine details,” said Emily Mayer, product designer for Downlite.
“We have incorporated them in our down and down alternative bedding products. To differentiate Jessica’s collection from others in the industry, we have focused on lace, pleats, satin and embroideries in soft, sophisticated hues,” said Mayer. “Jessica’s brand allows us to ‘romance’ the home with special touches that really resonate with the consumer and bring life and new luxury to the category.”
The first collection includes two down alternative comforters, one down comforter, five down alternative pillows, and three feather/down pillows. “Moving forward, there will be blankets and other bedding products,” said Kerry Glasser, founder of Concept Marketing Group, the licensing agency of record for McClintock. “With Downlite, we have the ideal licensee with the necessary expertise, vision, and resources to accurately translate McClintock’s design aesthetic and brand into a program of down and down alternative products.”
The designer’s San Francisco home is typically the inspiration for all her home collections and offers a “fresh design option utilizing unique fabrications and my always present attention to detail,” McClintock explained.
