Creative Bath moves into larger space at 7W New York

New York - Creative Bath Products is relocating into a new and larger showroom at 7 West 34th St.  to accommodate an expanded assortment of offerings and new categories of products for fall debut.

The new showroom measures 10,000 square feet and is located on the 10th floor of the building. Creative Bath's current space, which it has occupied since early 2008, is 7,500 square feet.

The company signed a 10-year lease for the new showroom, which will feature a variety of room-setting displays such as a virtual bathroom, a backyard/picnic area, and a college dorm and home office environment.

It will be open for business Mondays through Fridays.

"Although business is still tough, we feel the time is right to invest in more space that will we allow us to showcase all product categories under the Creative Bath Products Inc. umbrella of product classifications," explained Bob Weiss, vp of sales and marketing. "The marketplace can expect to see more new product development in decorative bath, house wares, storage and organization as well as decorative pillows."

The company, he continued, is also moving forward with its outdoor tablecloth business, which it launched last year under the Vera license.

"[It's] a natural evolution from our shower curtain development," Weiss said.

Creative Bath is planning to host a grand opening event at its showroom in mid September during the New York Home Fashions market.

In other related news, Creative Bath will soon launch a new website - www.creativebath.com -- that will be updated bi-annually to include new and existing merchandise lines.
