Services Held for Eli Bell, 92

Private services were held in December for legendary decorative fabrics converter Eli Bell who died on Dec. 19.
Bell, 92, had a varied career in areas outside the decorative fabrics business until he joined his father in a retail fabric business in the metropolitan New York area. He subsequently joined Imperial Textiles as a salesman. He later became sales manager before becoming the owner of the company. The company closed in the early 1980s. He became a consultant to several decorative fabrics firms. Bell is survived by his wife Dorithy, six children, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
