Springs teams with Serta for licensed collection

Springs Industries broadened its licensed family of products last week, announcing that it had signed a licensing agreement with Serta, based here.
"We see tremendous growth potential with Springs on both the expansion and the promotion of the Serta brand in related product categories throughout the United States," said Susan Ebaugh, Serta's vp, advertising. "Springs and Serta share a strong commitment to brand-building and a far-reaching reputation for outstanding quality.
"This will be a dynamic relationship," Ebaugh also said.
Leslie Gillock, Springs' vp of brand management, said, "Combining Springs' quality products and strong retail distribution with Serta's significant brand recognition will bring retailers a unique opportunity for the consumer. We look forward to a successful long-term relationship with Serta."
