Down Lite Partners with Good Housekeeping; Eddie Bauer

Downlite will debut the Good Housekeeping Good Home Bedding Collection during market week. An agreement inked with Good Housekeeping and Hearst Brand Development will have each product in the line evaluated in the Good Housekeeping Research Institute, the magazine’s state-of-the-art product testing laboratory for quality and durability, an initiative to ensure that the products meet industry standards.

The assortment contains comforters, pillows, blankets and mattress pads — in both natural and synthetic fills. They will be offered in a variety of Downlite’s lines, including Sleep Well Fresh Release; Sleep Smart, Stain Release; and Sleep Healthy, Allergy Smart products.

Downlite also announced a multi-year licensing partnership with Eddie Bauer for premier down and down alternative products to include comforters, pillows, blankets and mattress pads. All will carry signature Eddie Bauer branded packaging.

“The Eddie Bauer brand is known for quality and comfort, and marries perfectly to what Downlite offers its customers,” said Chad Altbaier, vp sales and marketing, Downlite. “We expect a very positive reaction to this collection as it is a great opportunity to provide differentiation and value in the marketplace.”
