Retail Editor 1, November 1, 2013

Brooklyn, NY - Home furnishings retailer West Elm will open a new retail store in Mill Valley, Calif., on Nov. 7.

In addition to West Elm merchandise, the store will feature an assortment of local, handcrafted products sourced through Etsy.com that include jewelry, wall art, kitchen linens, coasters and candles.

The store will feature a Living Wall inspired by Marin County's redwood forests and a juice bar in collaboration with popular local juice purveyor, Urban Remedy.

"West Elm is committed to working with artisan groups around the world and in the local communities where our stores are based," said Jim Brett, president of West Elm. "Customers that shop at the Mill Valley store will find artisan handcrafted items from Marin County, the Bay Area and around the world."
