HGTV Home pop-up stores opening at shopping malls

New York - HGTV Home products will be popping up at several U.S. shopping malls this year, according to the lifestyle brand.
Pop-up showrooms of 3,000-square-feet will offer shoppers a look at the licensed product collections created in cooperation with the lifestyle team at HGTV, the cable network, website and brand focusing on home and garden. Each showroom will be open for about a month.
Products will include the HGTV Home furniture collection by Bassett and flooring by Shaw, along with lighting, outdoor lighting, outdoor living, fabric and trim lines. Shoppers will also be able to meet Vern Yip and other HGTV star designers, and enter to win $5,000 in the HGTV Home Cash Giveaway.
Pop-up showrooms will be open this year in Phipps Plaza in Atlanta (May 1-June 4), King of Prussia Mall in Philadelphia (July 1-Aug. 4), Tysons Corner Center in Tysons Corner, Va. (Aug. 19-Sept. 22) and The Shops at North Bridge in Chicago (Oct. 7-Nov. 10). In addition, a holiday-themed showroom will be featured at Santa Monica Place in Santa Monica, Calif., Nov. 25-Jan. 1.
"The HGTV Home pop-up showrooms offer consumers a chance to engage with the brand on a new level and in a truly unique way," said Denise Conroy, HGTV's senior vice president of marketing and creative. "Shoppers can now see in person how to get the room designs they've seen and loved on HGTV and HGTV.com."
