Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles - Spring Edition set for next week

Shanghai - The spring edition of the Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles trade fair will take place at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Centre here from March 5-7.
The show will feature 300 exhibitors from nine countries and regions, including from Austria, China, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Korea, Pakistan, Taiwan and the UK. The will show bedding products, curtains, decorative fabrics and more across 37,000 sq. meters of exhibition space.
Among the first-time exhibitors are UK woolens supplier Bronte, Feroze 1888 Mills Limited and Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Ltd.
Domestic suppliers from home textile manufacturing bases, including Haining, Yuhang, Shaoxing and Tongxiang. are joining the fair in special pavilions.
"Despite the challenging economic times of 2012, the home textile industry in China is growing due to the strong performance of the domestic housing market, and we are optimistic about the outlook for the coming year," said Wendy Wen, senior general manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd.
The show is organized by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT and the China Home Textile Association (CHTA).
