Williams-Sonoma continues to nurture startups

Boston — Already off to a strong start, Pottery Barn's newest concept, PB Teen, will have a distribution of 15 million catalogs this year, including the launch drop of three million in April, said Pat Connolly, executive vp and chief marketing officer.
Speaking at the CIBC World Markets' Consumer Growth Conference here this morning, Connolly added that e-commerce sites for both PB Teen and the year-old West Elm concept are planned for later this year. The company launched a PB Teen "lite Web site" yesterday that allows customers to view the catalog, then phone in to order. A store for West Elm is being evaluated, said Connolly.
