Bloomingdale’s elevates three executives

NEW YORK – Frank Doroff, senior executive vp, general merchandise manager, ready to wear at the Bloomingdale’s division of Federated Department Stores, has assumed the additional duty of oversight for Bloomingdale’s Direct and bloomingdales.com.
Franz Weiglein, president Bloomingdale’s Direct, with responsibility for Bloomingdale’s By Mail, now reports to Doroff. In addition, bloomingdales.com, formerly under the aegis of Lisa Gavales, who was senior vp, marketing effectiveness and strategy, now also reports to Doroff. For her part, Gavales has been promoted to senior vp marketing, reporting to Michael Gould, chairman and ceo, Bloomingdale’s.
Jack Hruska has rejoined Bloomingdale’s from parent company Federated Department Stores, where he has served as divisional vp, store planning and design, since 2004. His new position at Bloomingdale’s is executive vp, creative services, reporting to Tony Spring, senior executive vp, director of stores. Before joining Federated, Hruska had served as Bloomingdale’s senior vp, visual merchandising and store design.
