New rugs in lifestyle displays at Maples

At the New York Market – Maples Rugs branched out its 295 Fifth Ave. showroom by about double its original size with the addition of an adjacent showroom space in time for market this week.

Adding a second bay window, the company’s second-floor space measures almost 4,000 square feet, said Arnie Stevens, vp.

Maples decorated the new area with eight trend-based lifestyle vignettes showcasing its newest lines and constructions for both bath rugs and accent rugs.

The new design themes include modern, contemporary, photo-real, nature-inspired, and vintage looks. New constructions include innovative printed styles as well as enhanced level-cut-loop varieties for the accent and area rug categories.

And in the bath rug category, the company displayed its broadest ever showcase of products. Most of them made of Invista-branded fibers. But Maples’ bath assortment also included some new all-cotton styles.
