Home décor hub readies to open in India

New Dehli – The International Home Decor Park will open here in September just off the Taj Express Highway. The 350,000 showroom facility is expected to house 100 export companies.
“Every day, over one hundred buyers enter the city of New Delhi. Each has a specific agenda and rushes to the export areas specializing in the product they are here to out-source. This leads to localization of development and also narrows down the vision of the buyers and exports,” said Aditya Gupta, director of the new facility.
“The biggest service that IHDP provides to its patrons is a chance to find new buyers and unlock new avenues,” he added.
The exhibitors will encompass four product categories: floor coverings, textiles, gifts and handicrafts and hard goods (furniture and fittings).
