Cuddledown intros eco-friendly line

Greensboro, N.C. -- Cuddledown, the multi-channel retailer of luxury down products, will market down comforters, bedding, and other home fashions that are certified by Oeko-Tex to ensure that they are free from harmful levels of dangerous chemicals.
The protectors do not simply repel bed bugs but have been proven in lab tests to actually kill them, according to Cuddledown. The protectors are also effective against dust mites.The fiber treatment will eliminate bed bugs for up to five years and dust mites for up to ten.
The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification guarantees that textiles products do not contain unsafe levels of more than 100 substances that could be hazardous for humans. Oeko-Tex tests products to ensure they are environmentally friendly and free from potentially harmful substances.
