New York - Two big changes are coming next spring for the Global Home Show, the HTT-sponsored event that takes place in tandem with New York Home Fashions Week.

The show is relocating to the historic the Prince George Ballroom, Tea Room and Gallery at 15 E 27th St.

Opened in 1904 as part of a luxury hotel property, the Ballroom, Tea Room and Gallery were renovated and restored in 1999. Today the space is hosts fashions shows, art exhibitions, weddings and other events.

The facility is conveniently located in the middle of the home fashions showroom neighborhood, south of 295 5th Ave. and just east of 230 5th Ave. between Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue.

The Global Home Show opens Sunday, March 23, and will close Wednesday March 26th.

"HTT is thrilled to be able to have the site to hold our 9th Global Home Show," said Joe Carena, manager of the Global Home Show.

"We anticipate being sold out of space very quickly for March 2014 since home fashions suppliers have very limited choices as to where to set up temporary exhibits for the spring home fashions market week," he added. "The Prince George Ballroom, Tea Room and Gallery offer our exhibitors greater flexibility in display design. This combined with the beautiful restoration work done to the facility provides HTT exhibitors a superior showplace."
