Davie, Florida - Home textiles veteran Theodore "Teddy" Zonderman passed away on Nov. 20, 2013.
He was the son of Jack Zonderman, who founded Bay State Curtain and Stone Cline Curtain Company, one of the last of the old-line textiles manufacturing firms located in Fitchburg Mass.
Teddy took over as president of Stone Cline when his father retired and remained active in the home textiles business until his own retirement in 1998. An avid boater and fisherman, he was also well known and appreciated for his keen sense of humor and empathy towards others in need.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn; sister Carol; sons Jeffrey and Howard; daughter Michelle; and seven grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his daughter Alicia and brother Arthur, who was also a principal of Stone Cline. His two sons, Jeffrey (wife Anne), and Howard (wife Leanne) worked many years with Teddy at Stone Cline and are both still active in the industry.
Donations in Zonderman's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
