New Board Overseeing Operations of ART

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - On Nov. 1, the newly elected board of directors began a two-year term at the helm of ART, the creative home furnishings network.
     Dallas Market Center's Mindy Lowack is the board's new president with IMAX's Susan Andrulis serving as executive vice president. John Clements, of BJ's Home Accents is treasurer while Light by Design's Vanessa Turney is secretary.
     Additional members of the board are David Gebhart, Global Views; Lee Hershberg, International Market Centers; Kellee Hollenback, The Littman Group -Troy/CSL; Laura Van Zeyl; Cody Hutcheson, Codarus; Monica Loving, Ivystone; and Mark Phillips, Phillips Collection.
     Steve Crowder of Guild Master, immediate past president and Bill Fortson of BJ's Home Accents, past president, remain on the board as advisors.
     "I'm honored to assume the role of board president and look forward to serving with these amazing leaders in 2014," said Lowack. "Our board is excited about the opportunities we have to continue to evolve with the home furnishings industry."
