New European surface design show planned in The Netherlands

Eindhoven, The Netherlands - More than 70 designers and design studios will participate in the first Evolution show during Dutch Design Week, which takes place here Oct. 26-28.
The show is organized by VerbeekDesigns, an established Dutch design studio. The new trade show primarily targets on professionals in the interior, fashion and paper industries.

Exhibitors will include well-known studios, single designers and young newcomers.

"Usually, similar shows are way too expensive for newcomers and single designers," said Chris Verbeek, owner of VerbeekDesigns and organizer of Evolution. "Evolution is very affordable and creates a platform for less known designers. But we also welcome some of the bigger studios to our exhibitor list. It's a great mix."
So far, Evolution has registered designers and studios from 14 countries in Europe as well as the U.S., Israel and Korea.

Evolution will take place during the last weekend of the annual Dutch Design Week, which involves 2,000 designers and 350 events throughout the city of Eindhoven.
