Mia + Finn serves up quilts

Retail Editor 2, January 23, 2012

Brooklyn, N.Y. - Mia + Finn, a bedding and table linen company that debuted last summer, will debut Andrew quilts during the New York International Gift Fair in New York.
Andrew quilts bring "a European sensibility to an Indian textile tradition." The all-cotton summer blankets are block-printed, hand-quilted and reversible. They come in three color combinations: steel/aqua, celestial blue/steel and flamingo/tigerlily.
Mia + Finn founder and designer Caroline Defrance moved to Manhattan in 1999 from her native France before settling in Brooklyn. On a fact-finding trip to India, she became interested in the techniques and tradition of textile fabrication, printing, quilting and embroidery.
Mia + Finn products hand-crafted in Rajasthan, India.
