Pellenberg joins Linen Source

Tampa, Fla. – Charles Pellenberg has joined Linen Source as senior vp, general merchandise manager, a new post. He reports to Steve Cobden and Frank Hill, co-presidents of the Thompson Group, owner of Linen Source.
Pellenberg is responsible for merchandising, product development and creative for the direct catalog/Internet Linen Source brand, a division of Thompson Group. Previously, the company had a single general merchandise manager for all its direct marketing brands: Linen Source, Casual Living, Thompson Cigar and Café Belmondo.
All linen source buyers, merchandise managers and creative staff now report to Pellenberg.
Pellenberg, a longtime home furnishings retailing executive, held buying positions at the former Gimbels in New York, he launched the Domestications catalog and later joined Brylane Home – now corporately named Redcats USA. He returned to Hanover Direct as president of Domestications in 2004.
In another new appointment, Sharon Pennington has joined the company as director of e-commerce marketing for all brands. She formerly was with Home Shopping Network, and earlier, Shop At Home.
