Caber acquires Sure Fit of Canada

Markham, Ontario – Caber Distributors has acquired slipcover producer Sure Fit Home Furnishings, also known as Sure Fit Canada. The new company will be named Caber Sure Fit.

The company operates five distribution channels: retail, hospitality, pest control, health care, property management.

Caber will retain the Sure Fit name and website as well as staff and sales force. In addition, Caber will move to larger premises and hire additional personnel as a result of the acquisition.

“Straight away, I recognized the amazing synergy between Caber and Sure Fit,” said Bernard Weinstein, Caber president. “Both companies are market leaders, share the same corporate vision, and understand the importance of acquiring and maintaining a superb reputation in the marketplace.”

Caber is in the market for other acquisitions, he added.

“Our acquisition is a vital part of our future growth strategy,” said Weinstein.
