Natco Doubles Showroom Space, New Intros
March 1, 2010-- Home Textiles Today,
To keep up with its recent fast-paced growth in category offerings and business, Natco Home Fashions has moved into a new and larger New York showroom at 295 Fifth Avenue in time for the New York Home Fashions Market.
The company, which was established here about 80 years ago, moved out of its former third-floor 6,000-square-foot anchor space into a new showroom in suite 212, which measures more than double at 14,000 square feet.
“We're now able to unite the whole company in a single space,” said Jim Thompson, vp, sales and marketing.
Previously, Natco operated a separate showroom for its Windham Weavers table linens, kitchen textiles and decorative pillow division, which the company acquired less than two years ago.
Just as the company has boosted its showroom space, it has also significantly expanded its new product offerings for the market, Thompson said, with many new products being presented in each of the company's divisions. In addition to Windham Weavers, these also include: Bess Home Fashions for decortaive pillows and table toppers; Central Oriental for area rugs; Corona Curtains for soft window treatments; Multy Home for utility rugs and mats; Natco Home Products for accent rugs and other accessories; and Robertson Home Fashions for more soft window treatments.
“Each division is well represented in the new showroom,” Thompson added.
To inaugurate its new showroom space, Natco Home is hosting a cocktail party at 5 p.m. on March 9 during the market for its industry partners and friends.
