AG launches hospitality collection

New York – AG Hospitality – the hospitality division of AG luxury textiles – launched earlier this month with the announcement that Debbie Collins had joined the company to head the new division.

Collins most recently was director of merchandising for Consoltex International’s hospitality and home furnishings division, spending six years there. Prior to that, she spent a year at now-defunct Spartan International’s King finishing division. From 1994-1999, she was a sales executive/product development at Jeffrey Fabrics.

Her earlier career includes sales positions at Fame Fabrics, Cahama/Riverdale Decorative Fabrics and Howard Kaplan Fabrics. Collins began her career with administrative sales positions at Wilshire Manufacturing Co., then Perfect Fit Industries.

“Her strong understanding of the business and sales experience will be an asset to the business,” said Anna Giannis, company founder. “We are very excited to have Debbie join our team as wel plan to go forward in 2009.”

AG Hospitality launches with a collection of Egyptian cotton solids as well as jacquards that coordinate with 12 designs for sheeting, duvets and comforters ranging from 300 to 600 thread counts.
