Decorative fabrics designer Lindsay dies

Kernersville, N.C. – Longtime home textiles and decorative fabrics designer Anthony G. ‘Tony’ Lindsay has died.
He later joined Culp as creative director and later held a similar position with the then Elizabeth Weaving.
Most recently, until he retired he was a designer and sales representative for David Rothschild Co. He also was a faculty advisor for the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, and chaired the North Carolina State University Design Advisory Board.
He is survived by his wife, three children, 10 grandchildren and a sister.
