NPD to start tracking home textiles

PORT WASHINGTON , N.Y. — The NPD Group has begun tracking home textiles sales and will start to make its reports available this summer.
NPD will collect data monthly from its online consumer database of 2.5 million members and deliver its results quarterly.
“The home textiles industry is a complex industry in the midst of tremendous change,” said Peter Greene, vice president and general manager of NPD Houseworld, the division of NPD Group launching the new project.
