Momeni’s new headquarters to house one-of-a-kind rugs

Carlstadt, N.J. -- Momeni, Inc. has officially moved to its new company headquarters to a 50,000 square-foot executive office and distribution center here, according to Reza Momeni, president of the manufacturing and importing firm.

All of Momeni’s one-of-a-kind rugs will be distributed from the new facility, while the company’s programmed rugs will continue to be distributed from their 125,000 sq. ft. Atlanta warehouse. Momeni had been headquartered in New York’s Oriental Rug District since 1975.

The new complex is located minutes from Manhattan, near the New Jersey Meadowlands complex of corporate parks, sports arenas and shopping facilities. Newark International Airport and Port Newark are nearby. The new company headquarters is also in close proximity to the ORICA building in Secaucus, N.J., which is home to many Oriental rug importing companies.

According to Reza Momeni, “As our business has grown, we needed more space and more efficient methods of warehousing and shipping our growing assortment of one-of-a-kind rugs in addition to displaying our expanding programmed offering. Our distribution and shipping abilities have been improved to accommodate the needs of the modern rug business.”

In addition to its New Jersey and Atlanta facilities, Momeni has major permanent showrooms in Atlanta, High Point and Las Vegas.
