W-C to produce Sigrid Olsen Home

NEW YORK — W-C Designs has signed an agreement in principle to produce the Sigrid Olsen Home Collection featuring bed, bath and tabletop products.

The collection of the designer, known for her whimsical, elegantly casual and modern designs in apparel, will be featured at the February and April 2005 markets with retail launches in department stores in fall 2005.

The collection will follow Olsen’s signature print looks, use of color, natural materials and modern shapes. Olsen is a division of Liz Claiborne, Inc., and one of the more than 30 designer brands in the corporate portfolio.

W-C, a division of Waterford Wedgwood plc markets its products under names such as European Classics, Royal Palace, Wilson Court, Waterford Linens and Wedgwood Linens.
