Softline marks 10th anniversary with new licensing partnership with GuardIn

Los Angeles -Softline Home Fashions and its founders, ceos and brothers -- Jason and Rodney Carr -- are celebrating the company's 10th anniversary this month.

The multi-million dollar company said its "pivotal decade" comes as Softline has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with GuardIn, a producer of advanced fabric technology.

GuardIn employs all-natural technology to remain anti-microbial flame-resistant, and stain/water repellent on Softline's already eco-luxurious fabrics under their Evidence of Evolution brand.

A distributor of ready-made curtains, decorative pillows, and fabrics, Softline opened its doors on Aug.17, 2001, and was built by the Carrs "from the ground up."

Today, Softline's products are distributed not only to major retailers domestically and in Canada but also exported to customers in Puerto Rico, Mexico, South America, New Zealand and Australia. The company operates showrooms here, as well as in New York, Atlanta and Montreal.

The Carr brothers said they wish to thank their "dedicated staff of over a hundred employees who have been instrumental over the last ten years."
