Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. - Upscale furniture and home furnishings retailer Natuzzi Italia is opening its first flagship store in Florida this fall at The Galleria luxury shopping center here.

Natuzzi Italia is set to host the grand opening this September. The store will represent the 52-year-old company's largest gallery in the United States at 8,000 square feet. It will be located on the upper level of The Galleria, above restaurants P.F. Chang's and Seasons 52.

Natuzzi Italia offers high-end upholstered leather furniture, crafted in Italy, as well as a home furnishings collection that includes area rugs, lamps, mirrors, tabletop and other items.

The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale was originally known as the Sunrise Shopping Center until 1980, when it was enclosed, redeveloped and renamed. It claims to be the largest upscale regional shopping center in Broward County, with 100 major stores, including Neiman Marcus, Macy's, Dillard's, Apple, Guess, Ann Taylor, Cole Haan, J. Crew and others.
