Delia's appoints Jarvis evp, store operations

Delia's has appointed Brian Jarvis executive vp of store operations. In his new position, Jarvis will report to Andrea Weiss, president.

With nearly 30 years of retail experience, Jarvis most recently owned and operated a children's clothing store in Westport, CT. Previously, he was the executive vp of stores for Bob's Stores from 1998 to 1999. He also held the position of executive vp and national sales manager for Bath & Body Works, a division of The Limited, where he oversaw the opening of 800 stores in just over four years.

"We are very excited to announce Brian's appointment, as we expect he will play a crucial role in successfully expanding Delia's store base," said Weiss. "His experience at Bath & Body Works will be particularly valuable to us as we look to rapidly execute our store rollout strategy, and we are delighted with his expertise leading this process. We are also pleased to note that his appointment caps an extensive team-building process that leaves Delia's very well positioned for the growth we anticipate going forward."

Jarvis is filling a position vacant since June.
